Venice Biennale XR Expanded / Venice Film Festival 2020
An animated Virtual Reality experience based on the documentary writings of J. K. Harju about life on the streets in 1950's Helsinki.
Made for an exhibition about J. K. Harju at the Helsinki City Museum in 2019-2020.
Premiered internationally at the Venice Film Festival in 2020 and showcased at numerous festivals around the world.
Interactive Holography

Venice Biennale College Cinema 2022
I created 3D animated scenes about molecular processes for the sci-fi film Palimpsest and designed a poster integral to the story.
The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2022.

I designed and animated 2D animations for the opening and closing scenes of a film series about young Karelians. The animations were based on traditional Karelian embroidery patterns. The film series, recorded in Karelian, was done as part of the Karelian language recovery programme of the University of Eastern Finland.
